1 Qh6+ does the trick. …Kxh6; 2 Rxf6+ and black gets mated whether he moves up or back.
If 2…Kg7; 3 Rf7+, Kg8; 4 Rd7#.
If 2…Ka5; 3 Be2+, Bg4; 4 Bxg4+, Ka4; 5 Nf3+ Kg3; 6 Bf2#.
qh6, king takes queen, rook to h file, game over
Qh6, Kh6
Rh4, Kg7

Seems to be easy (when knowing there are some tactics possible): 1. Qh6+ Kxh6 2. Rh3+ (double check, so Black’s King has to move back:) Kg7 3. Bh6+ mate. Or am I missing something? (I don’t want to start Shredder, input position and let the computer examine this idea – in a blitz game I’d just try if it holds.)
Correction: Sorry, I meant 2. Rh4 (instead of Rh3) in my previous post.
Easy! Qh6+
1.Qh6+ and the only move is 1….,Kxh6 followed by 2.Rh4+ and again the only move is Kg7, with the simple Bh6#
1.Qh6+ Kxh6 2.Rh4++ Kg7 3.Bh6#
Hello
1. Qh6+ , Kxh6
2. Rh4+ , Kg7
3. Bh6#
Greetings from Spain
mate in three:
1. Qh6+ Kxh6
2. Rh4+ Kg7
3. Bh6#
only one legal move for black respectively. greets, jan
1.Qh6+ Kxh6
2.Rh4++ Kg7
3.Bh6#
Wow! That is pretty.
Qh6+ Kxh6
Rh4 double discovered check Kg7
Bh6#
I can actually do this one!
Qh6 Kxh6 Rh4+ Kg7 Bh6#
qh6# looks like fun
Qh6+ Kxh6
Rxf6+ Kg7 (…Kh5, Be2+ Kh4, Nf3+ Kh5 (…Kg3, Bf2++), Nxe5++)
Rf7+ Kg8
Rd7++
Rh4 is not good since Nh5 follows but RxN is correct as mentionned.
