Well, Rd8 really leaps out at you:

The idea, of course, is to deflect the black rook from guarding g7. 1. …g6 won’t work as a defense because white can then play Qe5+ followed by mate, and moving the c8 bishop out of the way won’t work since white just plays Qg7# (the rook at g8 is now pinned to the king). The only defense is to bring the queen to d4 to guard g7 a second time, but this just loses the queen at best for black.
