Ne1 and White can draw
Nf4+!!…Rxf4
Bd7! and white wins
wils of iloilo, phil.
Nf4+!!….Rf4
Bd7! and white wins
1 Nf4!! Rf4 (forced as the rook was threatened) 2 Bd7! and, surprisingly, Black has no way of stopping the a pawn:
2…Rf3 3 Bg4
2…Rf1 3 Bb5
2…Rf6 3 a7 Ra6 4 Bb5
Black’s best chance seems to be
2…Rd4 3 a7 Rd7 4 a8=Q but the rook versus Queen ending is winning for White with proper technique.

Nf4+ Rxf4 (forced)
Bd7 and white pawn is unstoppable..
white wins
1.Nf4+ Rxf4 2.Bd7
nf4+, rxf4 bd7, anned wins
1 Nf4+! Rxf4 (forced)
2 Bd7!
and now the black rook cannot stop the a-pawn from queening.
2 .. Rf1 3 Bb5+
2 .. Rf3 3 Bg4
2 .. Rf6 3 a7 Ra6 4 Bb5+ or
2 .. Rf2 3 a7 Rg2+ 4 Kf7 Rf2+ 5 Ke7
1.Nf4+ Rxf4 2.Bd7 Rd4 3.h7+-
i am completly drunk and i noticed that nf4+ rxf4 bd7 followed by pawn on wins crikey
1. Nf4+ Rxf4
2. Bd7
Now the rook cannot get behind the pawn in time. If black tries, the rook is lost, e.g.:
2. … Rf6
3. a7 Ra6
4. Bb5+
Nf4+ Rxf4 Bd7 is a computer-line which you are not allowed.
Therefore this game is a draw.
