The 10th South Wales International Open is scheduled to take place on 14-19th July at the Penarth Conservative Club, 15, Stanwell Rd, Penarth, South Glamorgan.
The Venue is situated just a few hundred metres from Penarth Railway Station. 15 minutes from the M4 (Junction 33) making the venue easily reached by road or rail.
The tournament is a British Championship qualifier, with the top prizes being: 1st £1000, 2nd £500, 3rd £300.

Penarth is a very attractive seaside town (pop. 24,000) located 5 miles (8kms), southwest of Cardiff, the Capital City of Wales. (Only 20 minutes from the City Centre). Lying on the northern shores of the fast flowing Bristol Channel, PENARTH has been a seaport for little more than 150 years, and owes its rapid development to the growth of the once dominant coal exporting industry – now just a memory – and a legacy of some of Wales’ finest houses.
