I have been told that there will be close to 80 media groups statewide, nationwide and worldwide attending tomorrow. We would have had a lot more. Unfortunately, we are going against the big news about the resignation of Harriet Miers and the indictment of I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby Jr.

As I am sitting at the Karpov Chess School, people have been coming in to buy tickets all day long. The last count is around 2,300 tickets sold for the match and address by Gorbachev. The size of the town is 3,200.

This morning, probably between 50-100 secret service agents arrived in Lindsborg to check out the location. They were friendly and they are looking forward to the event just like all the fans. Tomorrow will be an event to remember.
