Congratulations to Ms. Diamond Shakoor of Saint Louis, MO! On Saturday, November 10, 2012, she won 1st place the Gateway Fall Chess Tournament (6th grade division) with 4 wins, 1 draw, 0 loss! Diamond is undefeated in Scholastic Tournament Play since relocating to St. Louis a few months ago!
Diamond is in need of sponsorship to get to her next 2 Major Chess events! Hotel, Entry fees, and transportation costs! This young lady is very gifted and needs help to compete: The breakdown of the trip is attached!
