The 10. Zudov Memorial Chess Tournament was held on 10-19th September 2014 in Nizhny Tagil, a city of Russia, located 25 kilometers east of the virtual border between Europe and Asia.

The 9-round Swiss event welcomed 51 players from 3 different countries (Armenia, Italy and Russia).

GM Boris Savchenko (Russia) won a sharp game against his countryman GM Dmitry Bocharov in the last round to claim the tournament on 7 points. He took clear first place, leaving the nearest followers half point behind and grabbed the first prize of 75.000 RUB (nearly 1.520 €).

Second place was shared in a three-way tie by GM Anton Demchenko (Russia), GM Gevorg Harutjunyan (Armenia) and GM Anton Shomoev (Russia) on 6,5 points each.
