With the Lubbock Open coming up next weekend, would someone experienced in OTB tournament play offer some tips to those of us who have never participated in a tournament?
If you have not registered, make sure you do that as soon as you get to the tournament hall. Then before each round, the pairings will be posted usually on the walls. It’s touch move chess. I’m sure there are competent tournament directors who could guide you through.
What was the most controversial moment of last week’s tournament at TTU? Did the chess players behave?
