The FIDE elections are quite entertaining. We have the idiots of K-K-Short going around preaching that they are the cure when they are nothing more than a disease. Short is hated by most professional chess players for his ‘short’ attitude. K-K always have one hand opening their pocket for someone to slip things into and the other hand in someones pocket picking it.
Once KI wins and sends these idiots packing along with the federations dumb enough to give vociferous support to K-K-S (better known as Moe, Larry, and Curly of the Three Stooges) chess can continue.
Take a look at Bareev’s statements about the vast differences between Karpov and Kirsan. You’ve NEVER seen Karpov open his pocket book for chess only trying to find ways of filling his. Perhaps he’s found a mark in St. Louis as well….
I’m extremely disappointed in Karpov. He started out well. But then he surrounded himself with people like Short and Kasparov who have a long history of doing bad things to chess. These two destroyed the world classical championship cycle. Every 4 years Short support anyone who’s willing to pay him to travel around the world. Now I think Karpov has no chance.
What’s even worse is that Moe, Larry, and Curly think they can win the election. They don’t seem to realize that 80% of the votes are already cast in behind the incumbent president.
I feel sorry for the players of the USCF. They will be forced to deal with the consequences and not the bozos like Goichberg, Haring, and Berry. We can call them the Moe, Larry, and Curly of the USCF.
How the hell did Nigel escape from his box?

No doubt the Short one is preparing a bunch of witty one-liners describing fat and wrinkles.
