  I agree with ricardo’s 1.Nxg6+. A ‘spectacular’ continuation is:
  1.Nxg6 Nd5 2.Bb5+ Qxb5 3.Rxd5 when white’s threats of 4.Qe7# and 4.Rd8# cannot both be adequately met.

  I saw the Nxg8 and the mates with taking. but not all the mates. It is amazing how complex a simple mate can be. This is really a good puzzle.

  was this actually played in a game. I got a feeling it was not actually played but might have come out of later analysis.

  but since I did get some of the mates, I will give myself a 1/2 point. like a draw.
