I just received sad news that Mr. Harold Dondis has passed away last night during a chess game in the Boston area. He was a long time chess columnist for the Boston Globe as well as very important figure in American chess.
He will be dearly missed by the chess community! RIP Mr. Dondis and thank you for everything you did for chess.
