Bravo Radjabov – remarkable!!!
And check out the 13 round – he has the white against Topalov – the only one who could stop him!!!
I think Radja has won the Corus already :)) although I support Topalov…
I am very impressed by Radj this tournament. I tuned into the game today and thought he was in trouble and might lose. I was disappointed in him. But he came through to win in the end. This is the mark of the champion. Definitely Radjabov has arrived.
Congratulations. Hope to see him at the top for a long time. He goes for the wins not the draws.
I am still a Magnus fan. But apparently Magnus is 2 years younger and hopefully he will have his breakthrough soon. I am sure Radjabov will be there waiting for him to arrive. Some good chess scheduled for the future. Karjakin says Right On! Here we come!
I guess that puts Shirov into the old guard making way for the new. This must seem discouraging for Svidler and others to see the young kids move up. I know Anand remembers when he was the young player moving up. Now he has to watch others move up.
It takes Energy to win a game. Lots of energy. You really burn it up to win. No small feat. Hard to burn up the energy. As one gets older it becomes much harder to keep up the energy output. The young ones are blowing out energy all over the place. The older ones are then relying on their experience. But they can not hold down that huge output of energy from the young ones. Eventually the energy wins out.
By the way Radjabov tournament performance rating before todays game was over 3000. With the win today it should go up even more. Remarkable. Hope he can keep it up.
i predict a lot of draws for radjabov here on out- but he won enough games that even if he draws all or almost all of the rest he;ll prob win the trnmt
Only Hydra could stop the youngster
,not Topalov!
I guess Radjabov draws with Topa tommorow and destroys Carlsen and Karjakin in next rounds.
I start really to respect that kid’s fighting spirit.
Radja is playing an intelligent tournament – nailing down the ‘weakest’; he will probably score draws against the top men :- anand, kramnik, topa and win the tournament; though he might be too inexperience to arrive at the end as a winner. Hopefully not.
GO RADJABOV !!!
His Tournament Performance Rating is now at 3074 for all 5 games. He is +4 out of 5 games.
I do not think all draws will win. Topalov is playing well and can get up there.
Now if Radj wins his remaining 9 games. haha.
Who is the terrorist who took this photo ??
How do you want we marry him now ?
In Round 5 Topalov wore the lapel band in support of Bulgarian nurses in the Libyan jail while Kramnik demonstated yet again his disregard for chess fans by making a quick draw.
I agree : Toalov should have been given two free points for his fairness instead of one in Elista so that he would be the world champion…

Whom do you agree with?
30. Rxd3??
Rxe8 would have been a lot stronger, but black is still winning after Qxe8, if more slowly.
