Nxg7 if 1 Kxg7 Rg3+! and either Ng4 or Kh7 or Kh8 Qxd2 winning the Q! or 2 Kg8 Nf5 if Ng4 Qg5+ and Kh7 or Kh8 Qg7# if 3 Kh7 Nf5 Ng4 Qg5 Qxf2+ Kh1 if Qxe3 Qxh5+ Kg8 Qxg4+ Kh7 or 8 Qg7# 4 if after Qxf2+ Kh1 Rg8 Qxh5+ Nh6 and Qxh6# I feel like Im missing something. TFK
also if Nxg7 Rg8 Qxf6 Rxg7 Qh6+ if Kg8 Re8+winning the Q or Rh7 Re8 also winning the Q. If my calculations are wrong please let me know Susan. Thanks TFK
Zsuzsa, It’s an honor to have a position from one of my games posted on your site. I’m assuming you found it interesting and hopefully others will, too. The computer program Little Chess Partner – which can be found on Chessgames.com – was black. The Rg3+ shot is the prettiest move, assuming Kxg7??, but the computer was not that foolish. Enjoy everyone, & best regards Zsuzsa. Sincerely, Devin
But the mate threat with Night and Queen is dangerous for black.
My best continuation would be 1. Nxg7 Ng4 (Prevent from mate by Night and Queen) 2. Nxh5 f7 (Supporting the Night) 3. Re7 or Rh3 (to counter against d4)
and white has an edge, but black is not in a position to resign.

I thought about the line
1. Nxg7 d4

1. Nxg7 Nh7
2. Nxh5
and black is in deep trouble having just lost 2 pawns in front of his king.
