1. Nxf6+ wins, I think.
If:
A. 1.., gxf6, 2.Qh5+ followed by mate on f7.
B. 1…, Kf8. 2 Nd7+ again leads to mate on f7.
C. 1.., Ke7 leads to a forced mate after 2. Ng8+!. Rxg8. 3. Qf7 mate

“B. 1…, Kf8. 2 Nd7+ again leads to mate on f7.”
Rethink this variation – after 2. -, Ke8 3. Df7+ black can go to d8.
d7 isn’t a good field for the knight.

My first attempt:
1. Nxf6+! Kf8
2. Nd5+?? Ke8/e7 (Kg8-3.Qf7#)
3. Qf7+ Kd8
4. Ne7+
I originally had in mind:
4. … Bd6
5. Nxc6+ Kc8 (forced)
6. NxQa5+ Nxa5
7. axb3
or
6. Qd7+ Kb7
7. NxQa5+ Nxa5
8. Qd5+ Kb6 (if anything but Kb6, then 9. QxBc5)
9. cxb3
(Queen vs. two minors in both lines, winning but with a fight…)
however, it gets worse:
4. … Nd2+!
5. Rxd2+ Qxd2
6. Nxc6+ Kc8
and white is toast.
5. Kc1 bxa
looks even worse, I think.
Instead, the simple:
1. Nxf6+! Kf8
2. Ne4/h4/g8 permits
3. Qf7# in all lines.
Note to self: “Keep it simple, stupid.”
