from what I can hear –and remember– of Humgarian:

Then she really gets going and I lose the thread…

Put your queen here nd tell your mommy checkmate” 🙂

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting to see the right amount of intuition needed to lead a child to get a thrill out of chess.
I’ll have to try that approach this evening with my child though I’ve been more adept teaching her music.
