Here are some tidbits from the London Chess Classic, courtesy of John Saunders (Press Office, London Chess Classic)

Today is Hikaru Nakamura’s birthday as he is taking on Mickey Adams. In the picture above, the Chinese Ambassador made the opening move on Ni Hua’s board but it was Kramnik with White who had to show him what to do. You can see him Kramnik pointing to d2 and then d4. Luke McShane is the only player coming from his home every day.
