The Pays de Charleroi International Tournament 2013 is taking place from July 27th until August 3rd at the Complexe Sportif de Roux, Rue des Couturelles, 2 – 6044 Roux (Belgium).

The 9 rounds Swiss open has a time control of 2 hours for the first 40 moves plus 1 hour to complete the game.

187 players have registered to participate. German GM Igor Rausis is the first seed, followed by Lithuanian GM Aloyzas Kveinys and Belgian IM Tanguy Ringoir, who was recently crowned as national champion.

The prize fund amounts to 5.000 Euros. There will also be prizes for women, seniors, juniors, and players affiliated to the Hainut league.
