We are making this spectacular event incredibly affordable with $28 early entry fees, $59 hotel rate ($89 for a 2-family suite) and plenty of affordable quality restaurants nearby. We are adding a live concert, laptop computers to the winner of each section, other cool prizes, Blitz and Puzzle Solving Championships, etc. There will be plenty of giveaways all weekend long.
We want to make this event a memorable event to all participants! Parents, Coaches, Players, do you have other suggestions to make this event even more fun and successful?
Thank you for your help!
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

Hey Susan, I thought you’d get a kick out of the summary of a ChessBase article today: Schachwunderkind Magnus Carlsen strikes again. In devastating form the young Norwegian GM took first place at the Arnold Eikrem Memorial in Gausdal, a full point ahead of exprienced GMs and with a performance never yet seen from one so young.
So how’s Sofia doing? Hehe. Are they overlooking her, of is Carlsen a couple weeks younger than she was back then?
People have short memories 🙂
Give this kid a break. It was a record. Not the overall record but the boy’s record though
Hi,
I found your blog and think you did a great job. What did we do before blogging?
Cheers,
