Can boys in high school play in the national challenge?
Are there scholarships offered to boys?
What are the academic requirements?
Thanks.
How come the USCF doesn’t give out scholarships and laptops for scholastic events?
Yes, boys can play and yes, there are scholarships for both boys and girls. There are also laptop computers and other prizes for both boys and girls as well.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

are there tax implications when you award expensive prizes like laptops at scholastic tournaments? is it like winning money at a cca tournament?
