Nicely done! The entry is reasonable. The hotel rates are great! And the prizes are simply outstanding! Congratulations to Susan and the Brownsville folks.
wicked! (that means ‘great, really good’.
The scholarship is brilliant, and the laptops great for improving chess, so well done Susan.
here in england prizes rarely exceed the total entry fund for high school chess
Great job Susan!
It is close to non Americans obviously, heh?
I am ready to sign up. Can I win the scholarship if I am 65 years old. Heck I feel young.
We had nothing like this back in my high school years of the 1950’s. We could not even find books on chess. We had to figure it all out on our own. And let me say we figured out almost nothing. It was tough going. No way to find the right answer except to work it out yourself.
Bobby was incredible because he figured out so much all on his own. No real help from a group of GM’s and certainly no computers.
