To fans all around the World

Every thing is ready. We are three months away from celebrating the World Chess Championship Mexico 2007. The Mexican chess community awaits with great expectation the arrival of the top eight players; the historic opportunity of being the venue for the maximum tournament has allowed us to exercise our ability of summoning our power in communication and broadcast and our organization expertise.

The scenario for the great confrontation that will take place from the 13th to the 30th of September of this year is all set. The historic center of the most ancient city in America will celebrate, along with the annual independence festivities of our nation, the great event that will lead to the coronation of a new World Chess Champion.

Since we received the honor of being the venue, we are sure that for you, time has come to pass normally. For us, on the other hand, time has transpired slowly. We have followed move by move the development of the encounter between Kramnik and Topalov; the eliminatory matches that have been played at Elista have been an enormous center of attention for the Mexican chess community.
