Which one of the 5 remaining matches would finish in the most dramatic fashion? What is your prediction?
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I hope Judit can do it !
Whatever the outcome, she did very well yesterday.
Aronian 2.5 – 2.5 Carlsen
This is going to be a fight to the death!
Polgar 2.0 – 3.0 Bareev (W)
Judit will prevail!
Adams 3.0 – 2.0 Shirov (W)
Don’t count Shirov out just yet!
Gelfand 2.5 – 2.5 Kasimdzhanov (W)
I think Gelfand will win it!
Ponomariov 2.0 – 3.0 Rublevsky(W)
I hope but the task is not easy.Black, d4 closed position draw tendency. or will Judit play Benko openning?
Pony.
Aronian-Carlsen will be most spectacular and also with a spectecular end. One of them will blunder horribly. Take my word for it.
Kasimjanov-Gelfand will be another complicated game on highest level with the same result as the others, 1/2. But maybe Gelfand can pull out a win somehow.
Bareev-Polgar will be a spectacular game as well, Judit will go for it. I expect a decisive game, for either player.
Rublevsky- Ponomariov will be a rather boring draw.
Shirov-Adams will be a hard fighting Shirov against a cool blooded Adams. Expect an exchange sacrifice by Shirov. Adams will hold.
The nice thing about these predictions: you better write them down or you forget how wrong you were before the game. lol. it may come all different, but it is much fun to do as if you know it all 😉
Aronian – Carlsen is defenitly the most dramatic match. There are a lot of decisive results in this match so far. They are not afraid to take risks and they play for the win on both sides in each game. These guys make chess a lot more exiting to watch for the fan.
Keep going guys. Thank you.
Rublesky drew and advances.
