Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Ukraine better win on match point because they have bad tiebreaks.
I thought the first tiebreak was board points, but it appears that it isn’t. So after match points, what is the next tiebreaker, the one with scores typically in the 200+ range?
First tie-break is sonnenborg-berger. A quite special one, I would say:
Game points scored against a team multiplied by the match points of that team
Then you add all together, excluding the worst result.
