Obituary – Mikko Markkula
It is with very great sadness that we have learned that the Chairman of the FIDE Qualification Commission Mr. Mikko Markkula has passed away. FIDE expresses its condolences to the family of Mr. Markkula.
He will be sorely missed by all his colleagues. The light memory of Mr. Mikko Markkula will be eternally kept in our hearts.
