Nisha holds top seed

NEW DELHI: Woman Grandmaster Nisha Mohota caused a sensation by holding top seed Zhao Zong-Yuan of Australia in 46 moves in the second round of the Sydney International Open chess tournament in Sydney on Thursday.

It turned out to a fruitful opening day for the Indians after eight of them became part of the 14-player leaders’ pack with two points each.
