Susan, thank you for putting together a DVD on the Colle-Zuckertort system! I’ve been looking for recent material on this opening (there’s a fair amount on the Colle-Koltanowski) but there isn’t much. I’ll be buying the new DVD as soon as it is available.
This is fantastic! I cannot wait until they are released. I loved your DVD on Fischer’s games.
Oooh, I’ll have to get that DVD on the Colle-Zukertort. I’ve been playing that a lot lately.
(Heck, I should get the endgame DVDs, too, since I regularly embarrass myself in endgames. :/ )
Gad, do you know there’s a good (fairly) recent book on the Colle and Colle-Zukertort? Gary Lane’s “The Ultimate Colle” is from 2001 and is an excellent book. It’s out of print, but you can find it in secondary markets. I imagine it would go well with Susan’s DVD.
Valerij Bronznik’s book “The Colle-Koltanowski System” was published in 2004 and that’s the most recent one I’ve found. It doesn’t include anything on the Colle-Zukertort, but Bronznik presents really good analysis of the Colle-Koltanowski via illustrative games and a presentation of main ideas. I had purchased his book on the Chigorin Defense and really like how in-depth his work is.
