Standings after 8/9 rounds by TWIC (Note: Some played 9 games while others played only 8 so far)
I represented Hungary in the Maccabiah Games some years ago but not in chess. It was in mixed double ping pong 🙂 Unfortunately, we were eliminated in the Quarterfinal.

Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
You can do it Judit!
Susan please check out http://miss-universe-in-chess.blogspot.com/
It’s “supposedly” an internet vote for Miss Chess Universe and it doesn’t have Judit (or yourself for that matter) listed and the slideshow has tons of Alexandra Kosteniuk images compared to the other woman. This smacks of a poor PR campaign for Kosteniuk.
It’s bad enough that she claims to be the Queen of chess and isn’t in the FIDE top 10 for women players, and not having the world’s strongest player (Judit) on the list for Miss Chess Universe is ridiculous.
Please do a blog post on this – enough’s enough already.
Thank you for letting me know. I am thankful that I am not included in this.
I prefer to have my chess playing resume, as well as my positive contribution to chess education, promotion, scholastic chess, women’s chess, chess for girls, military chess, college chess, and the millions of dollars in chess scholarship and prizes which my foundation and I have awarded to young people, etc. do the talking for me.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar
Nepo lost to Elianov and now Najer wins.
btw I bet Kostenyuk doesn’t care. She is successful enough 🙂
hehe funny stuff, its clear Judy easliy best woman player, must be nice pictures of Kosty though! haha
Great comment Susan – well said!
Maybe the Miss Universe Chess is some kind of joke – at least it seems to be given how biased it comes across. Regardless, whoever made it definitely put lots of effort into it!
Is sutovsky really on 0.5??
Mixed doubles ping pong??
Susan, are you also a very good ping pong player and never told us?
