North American Chess Association March Events:

March is a busy month for chess no doubt! The NACA is organizing 4 events, and there are still other events going on as well in Illinois from other organizers.

A quick list of events are as follows:

9th North American FIDE Invitational (March 22-28)
2008 IL Denker Qualifier (March 29-30)
2008 IL Polgar Qualifier and IL All Girls State Championship (March 30)
1st North American Match Challenge (March 31 – April 3)
IL Scholastic Championships (March 15-16)
International Scholastic Chess Tournament (March 15 – 16)

9th North American FIDE Invitational

On March 22, 2008 at 10:30am, 10 players from around North America will come together to put their minds to the ultimate test. 7 players will attempt to gain a ‘title norm’ in hopes of becoming International Masters, as recognized by the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
