I’m tickled to see Shirov winning in opposite-colored bishop positions. He won some beautiful bishops of opposite color endings in the 90’s.
I can’t think of any other player who has a niche specialty like this.
His games are so impressive at times! A wonderful sight to see him play Kd7 and be safe!
