White wins! White will later have two pass pawn marching up board the black king can stop both.
1. Kg5,Kf7
2. Kf5,Ke7
3. c5,Kd7
4. cxd6,Kxd6
5. Kf6
I believe it’s a draw, the black king can create a wall in the e file and prevent the white king from going to the other side.
1.Kg5 Kf7 2.Kf5 Kf7 3.c5 winning
I think white wins after 1.Kg5 Kf7 2.Kf5 Ke7 and now 3.c5! Anyway, I do not see anything better than this…
Beelze
A simple win for white.
1. Kg5 Kf7 2. Kf5 Ke7 3. c5 Kd7 4. cxd6 Kxd6 5. Kf6 Kd7 6. Kxe5 Ke7 7. Kd5 Ke8 8. Kc5 Kf7 9. Kb5 Kg6 10. e5 Kf5 11. Kxa5 Ke6 12. Kb6 Kxe5 13. a5 Ke4 14. a6 Kf5 15. a7 Kg6 16. a8=Q Kf5 17. Qa4 Ke5 18. Kc5 Ke6 19. Qg4+ Ke5 20. Qf3 Ke6
21. Kb5 Ke5 {Deep Fritz 11:} 22. Kc6 Kd4 23. Qe2 Kc3 24. Kc5 Kb3 25. Qd2 Ka3
26. Kc4 Ka4 27. Qb4#
it’s a win
I think the basic idea is simply to keep the opposition, e.g.
Kg5 Kf7
Kf5 Ke7
c5
and of course if dxc than Kxe5 while if for example Kd7 then
cxd Kxd6
Kf6 and wins
White wins! A cool puzzle!
White wins ! after 1.Kg5,Kf7 2.Kf5,Ke7 3.c5 ! is the most important move !
