The Quebec Chess Federation organizes the 2013 Montreal Open Championship on 6-8th September at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, 3200 Côte Sainte-Catherine, Montréal.
The tournament will be held in four sections: Section A Open, Section B (U2000), Section C (U1600) and Section D (U1200). All sections will be played over five rounds of Swiss system.
The total prize fund is 5000$. Top prizes in the Open section are $1000/500/300/150.

Section A 65$ / Section B 60$ / Section C 55$ / Section D 50$ (15$ more on site)
10$ discount for unrated and players under 20 to September 6, 2013
