On September 10, 2006, I had a blog about David Shenk’s new book: The Immortal Game.
In that blog, I said that David and I have the same publisher and I should get the publisher to arrange a meeting with David for an interview. The funny thing is he never got this message from the publisher. However, he got the message by reading this blog 🙂
At least I got a review copy from the publisher and I am reading it right now. It is very good so far! His schedule is quite hectic now so when things calm down a bit, we’ll sit down for some unique talks. I will post about it here and on a number of websites.

Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I bought the book right away when it came out. I heard the author interviewed on National Public Radio! This is one of those books that you know is good before you even start reading it. I will be savoring it for some time…..We need more books like this one to spread the magic of chess to the general public.
I like this book a lot.
