Scholastic Chess Tournament

The 2007 Mississippi Scholastic Individual and team Chess Tournament was held Saturday at the Regency Hotel & Conference Center in Jackson. Over 40 schools and 300 students were in attendance. Each participant received a medallion. Trophies were given for the top ten places in each division with the top four team members receiving individual trophies. Long Creek and McAdams were well represented in both team and individual competition.
