well that was a nice dance by white.
1.Rf8+ Kh7
2. Rh3+ Kg6
3. Nf4+ Kg5
4. Rg3+ Kh4
5. Rh8+ Nh5

Ah, very nice. I almost missed something very basic here. If
1. Rf8+ Kh7
2. Ng5+ Kh6 instead of … Kg6
White has only one way to proceed, since 3. Rh8+ falls to 3. … Kg6 and White can’t continue the checks without allowing the Black king to cross the f-file. similarly, 3. Rh3+ Kg6! and Black wins. Luckily
3. Nf7+!! Rxf7 (or … K moves 4. Rh8 mate)
4. Rh8 mate
This was harder for me to see, and I think more amusing/interesting, than the 2. … Kg6 line.
