Shahriyar Mammadyarov gets technical defeat due to being late

The eighth round of European chess championship among men is underway in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) today.
Shahriyar Mammadyarov has lost without fight. He was late for the game against Georgia’s Shota Azaladze and got technical loss.
In seven previous rounds Shahriyar Mammadyarov gained four points and was 127th. The contest with participation of 348 chess players will consist of 11 rounds and end on 31 March.
