Most parents would be happy for their five-year-old to focus on getting to grips with literacy and numeracy.
But when you’re a multi-millionaire actress and a rock star, why not add Ancient Greek, sailing and philosophy to the list?
Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are said to have advertised for a private tutor for their young son and daughter – and are making knowledge of Japanese, tennis and chess prerequisites for the role.
…The successful applicant will be able to teach the youngsters Ancient Greek, Latin, French and even Japanese or Mandarin, on top of giving sailing and tennis lessons.
They are also required to understand philosophy and enjoy painting, art, drama and chess.

Life is tough…it’s so hard to find good help.
Too bad! I don’t know Japanese and Mandarin. :-))
To Gwyneth Paltrow … also free.
Philosophy?! Two children aged 7 and 5 years to discuss Kant’s Critique of Practical Reason …
Multi-millionaires. Strange people.
Best regards
Stef
I think they may find it impossible to find someone that meets every one of those conditions, and even if they found someone who did, I doubt that person could be hired for so little.
Dont they know Susan is already employed
Actually, it appears they want someone better than they are to handle their offspring…
Gwyneth stopped being cool a long time ago.
