Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Go Leko! That’ll teach those quick draws with white; let them immediately suffer their black ones.
Oddly enough, I think Judit would have given Leko MUCH more resistance than Bareev. Bareev defeated Judit without too much trouble, but Leko is crushing him. Yet I know that Judit, on a good day, can beat Leko.
Sometimes GM-level chess is like a game of Paper-Rock-Scissors.
Hi,
Judit has done good work for Peter :-). She has open the openings laboratory of Bareev.
Regards
Pony.
I think Bareev’s problem is that his style is about the same as Leko’s, but the latter is better at it. Apart from that Judit would have been a better opponent here to make it difficult; at least her white games she would have given it all!
Having said that, I have to admit Bareev beat her fair and square.
