  Wow,what a great little endgame. at a quick look I would have said its a draw, because White’s King is behind the passed pawn.

  But having a look at the first poster’s idea of K to d3-c4 etc does win as the white King is quicker to the c5 – c6 – c7 squares

  White wins as my predecessors had stated. I can only add a sample line and a note. First my note: Notice that bringing the King to e4 ( only if Black allows it) is leading to a draw for example: 1. Kd3 Kf6 2. Ke4 Ke6 3. d5 Kd6 Draw. White cannot make any progress.
  Here is my sample line contribution mentioned above:
  1. Kd3 Kf5
  2. Kc4 Ke6
  3. Kc5 Kd7
  ( 3… Ke7 4. Kc6 Ke6 5. d5+ Ke7 6. Kc7 )
  4. Kd5
