The GACC world inter-vasity chess championship held in KL, Malaysia has just ended. In the team event, Philippines clinched the first and third spot, whereas the team from Singapore, NUS, took the second spot. The Iranian team that comprises 1 IM and 1 FM failed to make any impact in this tournament. Maybe Suan can post an article on this event??? This event was graced by their minister for higher education as well as te international arbiter, Mr Hamid.
Kxc4 is a simple win. If dc4? c5 would be unfortunate for white
