The 2015 Vladimir Dvorkovich Rapid Cup, Stage of the Russian Rapid Chess Cup Men 2015, took place from 14th to 16th January, 2015, at the Congress Hotel, in Taganrog, Russia.
The event was an 11-round Swiss tournament with the participation of nearly 150 players.
GM Denis Khismatullin emerged a clear winner with 9/11 points, leaving the nearest followers half points behind.
GM Evgeniy Najer edged Grandmasters Ernesto Inarkiev, Pavel Maletin and Aleksey Goganov on tie-break after the whole group finished the event with 8,5/9 points.
WGM Olga Girya was the best female player, while GM Nikolai Pushkov and WGM Galina Strutinskaya took the best veteran players awards for men and women respectively.
