Kamsky may have won if this if his nerves is steady as karajakin blundered at move 27.
I read that Kamsky was winning for several moves. It’s too early to say that the French doesn’t suit him!
I do remember an interesting comment by Georgi Orlov some years back. He said he didn’t play the French because he wasn’t good enough to play it.
kamsky always gets a good position out of the opening but finds a way to falter, be it time trouble or just bad play. if he could straighten that up he would have had a final game with topalov after having a won game and blundering away. he gets good positions from the french!
