Gata is a Chess God. Gata will be World Champion when he wants to be.
He must return to Russia in a stronger culture of chess if he wants to save his career.
Gata’s chess prowess is very mysterious. Sometimes he seems like a top 5 grandmaster and at other times his game deteriorates into time trouble and huge errors. Hard to explain. He should have some opening surprizes left from his match with Topalov but he’s taking too much time to move.
im soo disappointed in kamsky play it is unreal, why did he leave chess, while at the prime of his career? wow…it seems as if he is unsure of his moves, and lacking mental stability. I think after this tourney he will hang it up, he already stated that if he is not in contention to be World Champion, then he would retire…Well retire as you are not who you once was!!

Gata needs some of Nakamura killer computer moves and Nakamura needs some of Gata’s Chess knowledge and then you would have two 2800 players.

I need a regular salary so that I do not have to worry about bills while I play chess.
Gata just had a couple of bad games…His play is still at quite a high level and I think he can surprise and beat anyone alive.
He was out of Competitive Chess for so long, I’m not surprised it’s taking a bit of time for him to peak again.
He’s certainly not embarrassing himself here. Just Time trouble errors, something that can happen to anyone.
