Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I don’t care about this tournament.
Great going Kentucky Lion!
I hope more get KRUSHED!
I got to play in a simul against Kaidanov. He also gave a talk. A nicer GM you will never find.
Just out of curiosity, IM Krush has how many GM norms? Also, once you earn a GM norm but, say don’t earn another one for two tournaments, is the first GM norm negated and you “start over?” Or, once you earn a GM norm, it’s there until (if ever) you earn the required amount to gain the title of GM?
And, I agree with Mayanking…GM Kaidanov is a great guy, a talented GM and a great chess teacher. I’ve taken some lessons from him and a nicer person is hard to find. I wish him luck in the upcomind U.S. Championship.
Anyone know the answer about the GM norm requirements? I’m just using IM Krush as an example because I think she has earned one, at least.
Thanks.
When you earn a GM norm, it’s valid forever.
