Karpov stumbled into a win. That loss must really sting for Judit since it came right out of the blue.
Judit was too close to beating Nakamura, and now with Karpov. Ugh, if only 30 minutes instead of 25…At least it’s good to see that Karpov still has the fight inside of him.
The J Polgar v Karpov game was great, the best rapid game I’ve seen for a while! I thought Karpov looked busted and way down on time. He’s always been a great defender. I think Judit let a win slip here, but full credit to Karpov, he never gave up.
