Yes, well played by both. To me Chucky is the “real” winner, having crushed Carlsen in their mutual encounter.
But both played very well.
Well done! Totally deserved that Ivanchuk and Carlsen share First Prize. Ivanchuk is undefeated, and yet Carlsen has won almost twice as many games.
It is wonderful to see Ivanchuk at the top of his form — especiall bearing in mind that he threatened to retire in frustration a few months ago. Once again he has given us a new collection of brilliant games.
Carlsen seems a magician, conjuring wins from dead-draw positions. He has also made some terrible blunders. What must truly be frightening to other top-level players, is that he clearly still has immense potential for further improvement.
I hope to see both players in many tournaments in the coming months and years.

Ivanchuck deserved this win with steady..and great chess…Carlsen remimed me of a little kid ..trippin and falling making mistakes…being brilliant the next moment ..once this kid matures…holy crap are we in for a treat. To me, Carlsen is the “real” winner, with 86% of his games decided. 19/22! I hope, this fighting spirit will be dominant in future’s chess.
