Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
That is a big win for chess as a whole. Good Job Irina. Another female GM in the States soon?
Congratulations Irina!!! Well Done!! Couldnt have happened to a nicer person, as I have gotten to know Irina with the handle Travis, from the now defunct WCN chess site where Ms Krush gave enjoyable Broadcasts, lectures, and Master Challenges. On to The GM Title Irina! I know you will achieve it!
Brava, Irina! A GM’s title shouldn’t be far behind.
(And nice shot of the canal at the Venetian, btw.)
Third female to pass 2500???

CONGRATULATIONS Irina! Excelsior!
At least someone is doing something about the Russians.
What a BEAUTIFUL PHOTO!!! More than nice. Monet would love the water. Photography was primitive in his days.
Good to see another talented woman up there – but of course the initial shattering of the myth of male supremacy in chess only happened once. There is something special about a pioneer, and even more about one like Szusa Polgar who encourages her successors.

Impressive! Congratulations to Irina. She’s a great person, with a great attitude, and continues to improve as a chess player.
Who are the other two ladies? One is Susan, of course. Is Judit, who played and won (tied with Boris Gulko) in the US Open in Hawaii, the other one?

Inform us when she brakes 2500 FIDE
mark.OK?
As it says, 3rd *US* female!
The third was Zatonskih (after 06 US championship)
Just a small addendum: Anna Zatonskih achieved exactly 2500 USCF rating after last year’s US Championship. That’s probably who is the “mistery 3rd woman to break 2500”

Irina Krush is one of the nicest people in the whole wide world.
Well along with Susan and Anna I appreciate all of you wonderful ladies. I always cheer for the women to win. You teach men a little humility. 😉
Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Well isn’t USCF many times 100-150 pts higher than FIDE, so I am missing the news value of this. Additionally if FIDE rating is mainly earned in women’s events it clearly is not comparable as is to FIDE rating from men’s or open events.
