When asked what are some of the hobbies other than playing chess, Aronian said he is easy going, he likes art, and he likes a lot of reading. He said that he is an ordinary chess player.

When asked about the situation in Georgia and Russia, he said that these nations lived together in peace in the past and he hopes it will work out well for everyone.

When asked about the difference between chess in Armenia and Germany and even Spain he said that in other parts of the world, when you say that you are a professional chess player, people wonder what else you are doing.

Even though Armenia supports chess quite a bit, there are no major events and it is hard to make a living there as a professional chess player. That is why he chose to live in Germany for more opportunities.

When asked if he thinks he was going to win when he gave up the exchange, he said what else can he do? He said he had no other choice. If he did not try, he might as well shake hands and draw.

When asked about Magnus’ position, Levon said that even when White has an active King, he doubts that being 2 pawn down would be too easy to draw.
