  1.kc3 Kc7
  2.kc4 Kc6
  3.b5+ axb
  4.Kb4 and draw.

  2. .. Kd6
  3.b5 a5 (i think it is importaint to blockade the pawns, not allowing black to have an extratempo at the right time)
  4. Kd6

  if the black king is on d6 or f6, the white king must be on d4 and whith the black king on e6 (or even g6) white has to be on e4. If the black king goes to the kingside, white has to built the opposition on the e- and d-file. If black plays a4, white will be there in time its a draw.

  You mean 4.Kd4, right? Yes, White can pick up the a-pawn and still seize the opposition with Kb3! after Black captures on b5.

  A key point to this ending is that if White gets sloppy about when and where to grab the oppo, Black can counter with b6-b5. That will deny the White king access to c4 and enable the Black king to invade.
