Yesterday, I posted the following:
Thanks to the additional generous sponsorships from Mr. Jeff Smith, ICC, ICM, SPF and Texas Tech University, the Susan Polgar Foundation will award additional chess prizes (over 100 chess prizes) and scholarships at the 2007 SP National Invitational for Girls in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The additional chess prizes and scholarships are valued at a little more than $80,000.
Today, I am proud to add House of Staunton as an additional sponsor for the 2007 Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls in Chess Hill, New Jersey.
Once again, I would like to thank all of our generous sponsors for making this event very special. In addition, special thanks go to the USCF for hosting the 2007 Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls.
If you or your company would like to sponsor future events by the Susan Polgar Foundation, please send me an email at SusanPolgar@aol.com. Your generous donations will go toward prizes for your young players.
Why is it that Paul and Susan are able to get tons of sponsors while those sitting on the board are losing one sponsor after another? Can anyone explain this?
Way to go House of Staunton!
Why? Because Susan and Paul are pros in what they do and the USCF has a bunch of clueless politicians. I think that sums it up, doesn’t it?
the current board doest care it doesnt benefit them thts all there interested in there not interested in sponsors or children future in chess wht a bunch of losers shame on u board members stand up defend urself if u kno how susan has done more for chess children then n e of u losers evere have or will give it up n let susan n her dream team bring chess home where it blongs
Do they still have the Susan Polgar set available?
I just bought one a few days ago and they said only a few left.
