Haliburton hosts TLDSB chess championships

There were close to 300 children competing at the Trillium Lakelands District School Board Regional Chess Championship hosted by Haliburton on Friday, March 25. Competitors were between grades 1 and 8 from 14 schools represented at the competition. The top three of each grade earned a berth to the provincial finals in Toronto on April 16.
